Our Legacy
The Childs Family is Rooted in Tropic History.
A.J. Hanson, who is the great grandfather of Mark Childs, helped to found the town of Tropic. So, when our family made the decision to establish new roots and escape from the big city, this area called to us! Using the 2020 lockdown as opportunity, we worked tirelessly as a family to build the Bryce Glamp and Camp Resort. Owned and operated by the Childs Family, two more generations are working and living in this beautiful, scenic area.
